How do I care for enclosed terrariums?
Enclosed terrariums like our Fittonia (Nerve Plant) arrangements are fairly simple to manage.
Here are a few tips to follow as well as a copy of our care card:
- When transferring your terrarium to it's new home be sure to remove the cover to allow the terrarium to acclimate to the new environment.
- Water your terrarium lightly by pouring water near the base of the plant. Generally enclosed terrariums should only need water once a month. This may vary depending on plant size and environment.
- Terrarium should feel humid when placing your hand near the plant.
- If the terrarium is cloudy, remove the lid to let the arrangement adjust to the change in temperature. This may happen often at first but should adjust after a few days.
- Avoid direct sunlight
